Artist Bio
-
Donald Heard (1933-1971) was the first Art Historian hired by The Evergreen State College in 1971. Tragically, he died driving to work on Delphi Road on the first day of the quarter of Fall 1971, suffering from a heart attack. He won several first place awards at numerous arts festivals throughout his career, and is represented in numerous collections.
