Helen Buchanan was a painter and a printmaker that studied at Univ. of Puget Sound; with Rex Brandt, Bill Colby, Byron Knapp, G. Post, Robert Wood. She was active in Alaska and Washington. Helen exhibited at WA. State Hist. Soc., 1968 (Northwest Forts and Trading Posts) and was a member of the Pacific Gallery Artists; Tacoma Art League.
