Alfredo Campos
Federal Way, King County
"Growing up on a cattle ranch near Tucson, Arizona, Alfredo Campos learned to braid rawhide from local cowboys.  After noving to Washington (he now lives in Federal Way), he taught himself the Western art of horsehair-hitching.  He is now an acknowledged master in this field, and has been featured in several national publications.  He buys horsehair from a rendering plant in Stanwood.  Mr. Campos works as a foreman in a Boeing sheet-metal shop."
