Clallam County - established in 1854 - is located on the northern border of the Olympic peninsula of Washington state.
The collection highlights the cultural heritage of the Makah tribe. Also present in the collection is remnants of the logging industry that once existed in the area, prior to changes in logging restrictions around the time the council existed.
