Days, March 5th - 9th in lecture Hall 4.
Spe akers and workshops are scheduled to
happen througho ut all five days. Subject
areas will include: treaty rights,
Indi ans in the media, and Indian women in
t he movement. An exact schedule has not
been de termined at press ti me. However,
t he public is welcome and encouraged to
attend.

WHAT IS THE FACULTY HIRING PROCESS?
Our f i rst workshop has been s cheduled to
address this question, as well as how
curriculum is designed. TUESDAY, March 6th
at NOON in library 3205, faculty me mbel·,
Rudy Martin will outline the process for
us. Suggestions as to how to impact the
process will also be discussed .
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE, if you are
interested, please adjust your schedule to
do so . Many complaints are made regardin g
faculty and curriculum; here is our opportunity to educate ourselves and do something about it~
MINORITY AND THIRD WORLD WOMEN CONFERENCE
Pacific lutheran University (PLU) is hosting a conference March 3-4 on minority and

panels and speakers on such issues as
women and the Black church, American Indian
wo me n, soci al services and Asian/ Pacific
people, domestic violence, refuaee women,
