A series of free public lectures and film presentations

is being offered to

area residents by The Evergreen State College.
Directed by Faculty Member Gordon Beck, a film historian, the sessions are
set for Monday and Thursday evenings from 7 to 10 o'clock in Lecture Hall One.
The presentations will focus on the works of three major French filmmakers.
Alain Resnais and his films will be discussed April

8, 11, and 15; Robert Bresson,

April 18, 22, 25 and 29, and Jean Luc Godard, May 2, 6, 9, and 13.
The evening presentations are part of the academic work for a Spring Quarter
part-time studies program and are open to film enthusiasts of all ages free of
charge.
