Laura Thomas, formerly an office superviser

in The Evergreen St.at e College

Registrar's Office, has been n?~ed:a financial aid counselor at Evergreen.

The

appointment, effective immediately, was announced by Evergreen Director of Financial
Aid William Smith.
Mrs. Thomas, who also served as interim registrar at Evergreen from August 1973
to March 1974, will perform need analyses and assess financial need, package awards
and make revisions for all state, federal and institutional financial aid programs
in her new position.
Prior to joining Evergreen's staff in 1970, Mrs. T]:lomasserved as a secretary
to the Director of Financial Aid and Placement at High1ine Community College.

She

has also worked as a supervising secretary in Okanogan, Washington elementary schools
and as a bookkeeper.
