Lynn Garner, a June graduate of The Evergreen State College, has been named assistant
Director for TESC Student Activities.

The appointment, effective September 16, was announced

by Pete Steilberg, director of Evergreen Recreation and Campu~ Activ~ties.
The position carries with it primary responsiaility for f~scal management of Serv~ces and
Activities f ee-Tunded

programs on the Evergreen campus'. Ms:. Garner, a Tocaman, assisted the

former coordinator before he resigned last Spring.
A graduate of Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma, M~. Garner has worked for th~ f.P.
School District, as a secretary for the Clover Park. SCRool Dt~tri:ct, and for fort Steilacoom
Community College.

She most recently worked as a temporary employee in the.E.vergreen S.ecurity
