November 23, 1973

The Evergreen State College Office of Cooperative Education has invited 90
field supervisors to attend a half-day workshop on campus from 1 to 5 p.m. November 30.
The field supervisors--all employees of private businesses as well as educationa~
social, governmental agencies--oversee the activities of more than 100 Evergreen
students who are earning academic credit for their internships in a wide variety of
fields.
Topic for the half day program is "What Makes a Good Internship."

Supervisors

will.discuss how to evaluate the work of interns and how to use the community as a
learning resource.
