Islanders and International Students, in
recognition of our unique indigenous heritages.

Every quarter Peer Support present special
events or workshops on various topics (e.g.

calf Peer Support at Extension 6284.

Peer Support
Library/Lounge/Meeting Room
Supervised by professional staff, these
trained students provide advocacy, referral,
academic and personal support during dropin hours, as well as workshops,
Social/cultural events and outreach. Drop by
and say hello in the Library 1407C. All
contacts are confidential.

Mentoring Program
You have the opportunity to request a match
up with a staff, faculty or alumni who will be
your personal mentor for the academic year.
Through regular meetings, you will benefit
from the expertise of someone who's been
there.

Personal Computer & Typewriter
There are two computers available for those
word processing jobs you may encounter
while at Evergreen. The computers hold
Word Perfect 5.1 for DOS. A laser printer
HP Laser Jet is available for use with these
computers. The only thing you need to
provide is paper.

Need a place to have a meeting? Calf our
office for available times.

Community Meetings
Every Tuesday at Noon, we invite the First
People community to bring brown bag
lunches and take time to get together in
Library 1419. Meet students, staff and
faculty in an informal gathering.

Orientation Guide Book
First Peoples' Advising produces this useful
tool to help with your transition into college.
This is especially helpful if this is your first
year at Evergreen as it contains study tips
and information on community resources
and services. It's a must for your library.
